I don’t know anything about the politics in Iceland but maybe the citizens are not as divided as in the U.S. and could more easily agree that rascals in power had to go.
It is a good thing these people have taken responsibility for their own government and are not looking to the U.S. to “fix” their problems. We can’t even fix our own.
Bill Buckley was right and I agree with him. I would rather we have some “regular” citizens governing our country than elitists who have lots of self interests dividing their loyalties from those they are supposed to represent. As for the thought of two thousand faculty members from Harvard University, that is just about what we have with the current administration … Are you serious? Are you frick’ing kidding me?
